I recently acquired several vintage scrapbooks from the 1950-1960's. They belonged to a first or second grade teacher in Minnesota. It seems was in the hospital for an extended time. One event comes up in almost all the get well letters they wrote to her. Here we go!

There are more letters I will share in another post. I think Mrs. Smith taught several grades at the school. There is a variety of writing from printing to cursive. A few sentences to long letters. SO, keep an eye out. I the mean time, I'll see if I can find any news articles about the gopher in the basement!
